Elfi lives in her ‘tree house’ in the Berkshire Mountains of Massachusetts and offers her healing talents to clients at Canyon Ranch and in her private practice. Her pursuit of the use of Sound to guide energy along meridians and acupuncture points grew out of her study of both Oriental Medicine and Creative Art Therapy. She specialized in Music Therapy with Prof. Louise Montello, Ph.D. at the New School

Having moved to the US from Berlin in 1984, Elfi has practiced Shiatsu for over 25 years and has also taught Shiatsu internationally for the Ohashi Institute. She is a certified movement analyst (CMA, Laban Institute) and has studied widely with Jeffrey Yuen, acupuncturist, herbalist, and Taoist priest. Elfi has also worked with pregnant women to provide labor support with Shiatsu, and she has held numerous workshops on a variety of health related topics.
